Robert and Danette Riemer's first gallery and frame studio opened in southern California in 1991, and found a home in Newport Beach in 1998.  In February of 2019 the gallery moved to their current home in Corona del Mar, California. Over the several years of carrying beautiful eclectic original paintings, drawings, prints, and custom mirrors, Scene has established themselves as the premier gallery not only for art but also for their elegant and unique custom picture frame designs. Their clients find tScene's meticulously curated selection of primarily hand-crafted Italian mouldings second to none.

Owners, Robert and Danette Riemer, are both artists in their own right.  Robert is not only a painter and sculptor but also a playwright; many of his paintings can be found in the gallery, or viewed by request. His wife Danette's medium is mainly ceramics.  Her work will soon be found in Scene Gallery's collection for purchase.
